Van Cleef and Arpels begins with dynamically fresh citrus notes of Bergamot, Black Currant and Mandarin Orange, bolstered by the key note of bright, soapy Aldehydes and balanced by the fleeting sweetness of Peach and Raspberry. As this complex perfume for women develops, a rich floral heart emerges, wonderfully powdery and old-fashioned, it is a well-blended bouquet that begins with a white floral accord of Indolic Jasmine and Hyacinth-Tuberose accord that dominates, given depth from Narcissus, Rose and Carnation. This volumptuous bouquet leads to a distinctive mossy, animalic drydown dominated by an oakmoss note and an animalic, salty and leathery collaboration over a sweet Amber and Vanilla, enhanced by honey.
